Breathing Together visited The National Museum of Scotland over a weekend in June 2022 where the local children and their families enjoyed this free, kinaesthetic, interactive event and soundscape. The children first listened to a story on a giant handkerchief then explored an enormous nose filled with bogeys, cilia, hairs, bugs, oxygen, bugs and dust bunnies, finally popping out into a dome filled with lots of free play activities all centered around the topics of breathing and lung health. The Breathing Together engagement team was delighted to be joined by Professors Jurgen Schwarze and Stephen Turner and Research Nurses Catriona Ward, Naomi Smith and Maggie Connon.
